With HANSLAND, Markus Hans Kleierl (*1972 in Amberg/Opf.) is combining pictures with songs. In 2013, he started taking instant pictures with a 1969 Polaroid "Land350" camera using black-and-white packfilm Fuji FP-3000b. Meanwhile, a Polaroid "1200i" (with B&W-Spectra film) and a "Land210" have been added.

The connection between the picture and the song happens because of the mood while shooting, sometimes because of the title or certain lyrics of the song. His locations are chosen quite personally and are related more or less directly to his favourite artists - an old studio, a concert. And you will see travel destinations which often go hand in hand with musical events.

Er begann 2013 mit einer Polaroid „Land350“-Kamera aus dem Jahr 1969 unter Verwendung von schwarz-weiß Packfilm Fuji FP-3000b. Mittlerweile sind eine Polaroid "1200i" (mit B&W-Spectra-Film) und eine "Land210" dazugekommen.

Die Verbindungen mit den Songs ergeben sich durch Stimmung, Titel oder Textinhalt meist im Moment des Fotografierens bzw. schon bei der Planung. Die Orte sind sehr persönlich gewählt und hängen direkt oder indirekt mit seinen Lieblingskünstler*innen zusammen - ein altes Atelier, ein Konzert - oder es sind Reiseziele, die wiederum oft mit musikalischen Events einhergehen.
